Jayne honed her voiceover skills on the stage and on BBC Television as a live continuity announcer. Her work now covers the corporate arena, digital/online and radio where her ability to communicate complex information with credibility, integrity and authority is highly valued. Her northern roots give her voice an accessible quality - BBC audience research revealed her to be "believable, trustworthy, warm and intelligent". A 3 part series for BBC2 on Mexico, voiced by Jayne, was nominated for a Bafta.
She excels at technical subjects with complicated terminology such as in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors. Years on live television have made her an adaptable, efficient and reliable performer, able to take direction well and often called the 'one take wonder'.

"The artist Jayne C was very professional, calling in advance to check pronunciation and technical terms used in the script. She was punctual on the recording session, which was shared with three clients.
Jayne made everyone feel very relaxed with her engaging, friendly and professional manner. Her practice read backs for each audio recording segment was excellent, allowing the session to proceed quickly once final content and tone of voice was agreed.
Importantly, Jayne was also very patient with us when we decided to make quite a number of last minute, unplanned changes to the previously agreed script. When we were not being very professional, she most certainly was!
Her audio recordings were made with a professional recording engineer so the quality of the audio files we received were top notch. Well done!
