Artist biography

A London-based British female voiceover actor with a warm, distinctive and intelligent voice - and a fully connected broadcast quality studio. Master of the soft-sell, the playful and the authoritative endline. Sam’s elegant, assured RP voice has a natural, reassuring authority that inspires trust - as well as a sassy, conversational style for less formal projects. Sam started her career as a voice artist at the BBC and works regularly in TV and radio and for museums and galleries, corporate companies and games builders across the world. She’s played shape-shifting assassins, demons, fairies, society debutantes, bored wives, bingo callers (Level 10, Kate Winslet), saucy vampires and a vegan serial killer. She’s even the voice of a hotel elevator. And a pizza. Specialising in commercials, corporate narration, documentaries and audio drama, she has a world of experience in TV and radio promos. BBC-trained, with over 20 years of broadcast experience on both sides of the mic, she’s an expert with both live and recorded voice-work. Sam is host of the podcast "Talking Creative - the Art of Voiceover Directing".
