Artist biography

One Voice Award winner 2019 for best Female Performance on a demo for my animation reel. With 30 years acting experience playing leading character and comedy roles in the West End and around the UK, I now enjoy a diverse voiceover career working from my home studio and recording a wide variety of projects. I’m often hired for the character, music and warmth in my voice which has proved to be very suitable for children’s projects such as audiobooks, animations, commercials and most recently, a KS1 Bitesize video game for the BBC - but thanks to my East London roots the brassy fishwife in me is never too far away! and I had a ball, f...ing and blinding as an ADR actor in Guy Ritchie's hit film The Gentlemen! I worked for 20 years dubbing cartoons for major production companies and playing leading roles in classic cartoons such as The Wonder Pets, Millenium Actress (Anime)and The Untouchables of Elliot Mouse in which I sang the theme tune plus many other songs during the series. My singing is very strong and I have a vast amount of experience recording jingles, demos, cast albums and harmonies. My theatre, live performance, film and TV experience took me on a bit of a roller coaster from Les Miserables, Grease, Goldeneye and touring with rock legend Alvin Stardust, to headlining concerts in theatres all over the UK, a featured role in the epic film Revolution and BBC Sit Coms. In 2017 I was nominated for an Off West End Award (Offie) for Best Female Performer in a musical. I regularly perform a high end cabaret act, singing classic songs from musicals, films, and popular classics. I also perform alongside Tony Award winning composer and Musical Director Sarah Travis, and am the lead singer in the 60s band Ready Steady Go, a fabulous upbeat party band.
