Artist biography

My voice is warm, standard RP, warm, professional and personable with a friendly tone. I love bringing your scripts to life. My speech is naturally animated, I always ensure a smooth delivery and am fun to work with, whatever your project. I’ve worked in broadcasting since I was a child, but have specialised in voiceover for the last 15 years. With a studio at home, it means I can quickly turn work around in 24 hours and can record with ease. Plus with ISDN, it’s never a problem if a producer or client wants to dial in and direct the session. I can also record and email work to clients in WAV or MP3 format. My work is varied and I have a wide range of broadcast, commercial and corporate experience. Including national radio adverts for Matalan, television adverts for Leapfrog, corporate elearning for HBOS and animation voiceover for Royal Caribbean Cruise (that was a fun one, with the animation by ‘Hurrah for Gin”). I’ve also been the voice across the fleet of First Great Western Railway announcements and hundreds of telephone on-holds. I regularly record adverts for children’s products (something that still amuses me, when my own children hear me on the TV and come running to tell me!). And have done many super smiley radio adverts. I’m also very experienced at recording corporate work. My showreels have been edited into ‘commercials’, ‘commercials for children’ and ‘corporate’ to showcase my different styles. I've also been named Top 100 Most Influential Women in The West and awarded Freelance Ambassador of the Year Award, for my work with Freelance Mum.
