Ed P - Voice Artist

Artist biography

With a neutral British accent, Ed's signature voice is clear, emotive and youthful, perfect for any project requiring a positive clean cut sound. However, with a passion for creativity, a dynamic range and versatile voice box, Ed will work with you to find exactly the right accent, tone or character for your needs. Accents: English - RP, Yorkshire, Liverpool, Modern London, Cockney/East End. Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Australian, New Zealand, General American, Southern American, NYC. Prior to VO, Ed spent fifteen years producing creative advertising partnerships for global media companies, (Condé Nast, News Ltd, Global, Southern Cross Austereo) so he is used to working to tight deadlines with no compromise on quality. Training: Trained from a young age in speech and drama, passing several LAMDA examinations with distinction and honours grades. Ongoing VoiceOver and audio production training with Gravy For The Brain. Professional Home studio: Ed works from his purpose built broadcast quality home studio. An airlock door system, insulated floating floor, suspended ceiling and multilayered walls prevent sound ingress, while professional grade acoustic panels and acoustic blankets ensure there are no unwanted sound reflections, resulting in high quality recordings for his clients. A bit more about Ed: Ed lives and works in Goring in South Oxfordshire (50mins up the train line from London Paddington) with his wife Anna and little boy Joey. When he's not in his booth, Ed will either be found on a sailing boat, on a bike or on a hike, or most likely playing with his son in the local park.
