Artist biography

With over 25 years' experience in documentary and film narration, Andrew has voiced many high quality documentaries, advertising campaigns, educational and in-house corporate training films for commerce, radio, cinema, television and the Internet. He has worked in Austria, Britain, France and Germany with the BBC, ITV, ORF, ZDF and Canal+ amongst others. He has also over 30 years' experience in the music industry as instrumentalist and singer, and on stage as baritone opera soloist. His extensive theatre and studio experience, together with his authoritative, rich, warm 'Anthony Hopkins sound-alike' baritone speaking-voice have over the years brought him now to be much in demand for internationally broadcast audio-visual projects. He has recorded several commercials (some of which have won awards such as Jean-Paul Goude's "Egoiste" for Chanel) and numerous documentary series (such as "The Ancient Amazon", "The Realm of the Golden Eagle" and "The Black Mountain" for the Discovery Channel and Universum) as well as many corporate, image and language-training films in his native RP English. Recent Image Films have included clients such as Bank Austria and Energie AG. Projects have included: films on the Wiener Philharmoniker and the Vienna Boys' Choir; for ORF Universum/BBC Discovery, documentaries such as "Prince of the Alps" produced and directed by Klaus Feichtenberger providing the English language version of Otto Clemens' German original and at EPO Film Productions "Let it Snow" by Klaus Steindl. He voiced the prize-winning documentary "Healing" for David Films Salzburg and the latest film on the Wienersängerknaben (Vienna Boys' Choir ) "Bridging the Gap" produced and directed by Curt Faudon.
