Who am I?
I am Alicia - a trained actor and voiceover artist. The word word 'actor' may put people off, but acting and voice-over have a lot of transferrable skills. As a voice actor, I can bring the copy to life utilising connection and genuine engagement with the copy/subject matter. This skill is second nature to me, so the primary focus can be on making your project sound exactly how you want it to.
Who can I help?
Anyone and everyone that needs a female voice for their project! Whether it's big budget or small, for an internal or broadcast audience, business to business to for the general consumer or even if it's a special project for colleagues, friends or family - I would love to be the voice that brings your story or project to life!
How do I help?
- I have a dedicated home studio which is broadcast quality.
- I've invested in industry-standard equipment.
- I am constantly learning and developing my craft.
- This is my full-time job - I will be quick to respond.
- I understand that sometimes the vision you have doesn't always match up with reality - I am happy to include 1 or 2 rounds of edits (dependent on the budget and project).
- I understand that the script may change.
- I am happy for you to listen in when I am recording and I am more than happy to take live direction if you would like to be a part of the recording process.
- I can include editing as part of the job (this would have a separate charge as it is a separate skill).
- There won't be any hidden fees or charges. I will always be upfront and honest about costs.
- 9 years in the service industry taught me that the customer is always right and that keeping customers happy is the most important thing.
As an actor, even early on in my career, I was starting to get typecast. One of the things I love most about VO is its versatility. In honour of that, one of my aims is to be as versatile as I can be with my own voice work. In pursuit of this goal, I have developed a wide range of styles and tones to suit any and all project types. No one-trick ponies here!
