Creating and editing your artist Profile

When setting up or editing your artist profile, there are a few things you need to know about what we will and won’t accept.

Stage Name

This is normally your first name and your surname initial. No surnames are allowed as this could enable Voicefairy clients to Google you and contact your outside of the Voicefairy environment. Even though this is strictly forbidden once a client has worked with an artist through our service, sometimes it isn’t always apparent so we use this system to minimise this possibility. Should your name and surname initial be already used on the site please use another name or initial.

Short Bio

This is your description that appears in search listings. Keep this short and to the point. It should not include any surnames, direct contact information or web urls.

Profile

This is the longer description that clients will read if they click on your picture. The content of this will also be searchable when a client uses our search function. Again no surnames, direct contact information or web urls please. Also please do not add tag lists. Tags are reserved for portfolio clips.

Profile Picture

This must be a headshot. It must be a photograph. Cartoons, caricatures and other drawings are not allowed.
You should upload jpeg format no smaller than 220 pixels x 274 pixels and no larger than 1000 pixels x 1000 pixels. Borders or frames within the image are not allowed.

Clients

This list can include previous ultimate clients but not other voiceover services or agents.

Clips

All clips must be between 10 and 30 seconds and should be correctly tagged. Any tags must be relevant for ALL excerpts in an audio clip not just one. Like your profile they should not include any direct contact information or web urls. See this video for more information.

Rates

Please check these rates and modify them as necessary. Please note it is the ‘After Fee’ figure that you will receive if you are booked for this type of project.

If you have any more questions regarding setting up your profile, please get in contact.
